The regular season hasn't started yet, but the Mets will already be without Jacob deGrom and possibly Max Scherzer. On Saturday, an MRI revealed that deGrom has a stress reaction in his right scapula. He has been shut down for 4 weeks, but he could be out longer than that. There's no timetable for deGrom's return as of right now. As for Scherzer, he's currently dealing with a hamstring issue. But the issue isn't considered to be serious and he could be fine by Opening Day. However, there's still a lot of uncertainty about Scherzer's Opening Day status.
