Tottenham travel to King Power Stadium for its first match against Leicester City since a December 20, 2020 Tottenham 2-0 loss. Leicester has been struggling this year, but are coming off 1-0 victory over Liverpool three weeks ago, and a 4-1 domination ten days ago against Watford in the FA Cup.
Leicester will be playing short-handed versus Spurs. Center-backs Wesley Fofana and Jonny Evans are out due to injury, and center-back Daniel Amartey is currently playing for his national team in Africa. Ricardo Pereira and Jamie Vardy are also out injured, and Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are playing for their national teams in Africa. Spurs will be without Steven Bergwijn and Heung-min Son, due to injury.
